The Kangaroo Hoppet is now proud to present three amazing sporting events each year.
Whether you are an elite athlete wanting to take on the world’s best, a weekend warrior yearning for some more adrenalin in your life or you simply enjoy getting outdoors with your friends, we can offer you a range of exciting and exhilarating experiences in the beautiful mountains of the Alpine Shire.
Join us in the Upper Kiewa Valley, for the iconic Mt Bogong Conquestathon in February/March, the Mount Beauty Running Festival in May, and the Kangaroo Hoppet international cross country ski marathon at the Falls Creek Alpine Resort and Bogong High Plains in August.
All are made possible by our major sponsors, AGL Energy, Mount Beauty and District Community Bank, Falls Creek Resort and our dedicated team of volunteers.

With 1410 elevation up in only the first 9km, you will want to have been training hard !
For those who have purchased an event t-shirt during registration, they look and feel fantastic!
After you collect your event bib and timing chip after going through the mandatory gear check, come collect your pre ordered t-shirt !
FRIDAY 27th Gear check and registration at Mount Beauty Auditorium 5pm to 7:30pm
(Save the early morning rush on event day)
SATURDAY 28th Gear check and registration at Mountain Creek Campground 6:10am to 6:45am
(Mandatory event briefing is at 6:45 and go time is 7am sharp 💥 NO late starts, do not be late)!

Everyone who enters the Mt Bogong Conquestathon will take home a participation sticker (AS SHOWN IN PICTURE ) to stick where ever you want to show others and talk of your achievement of tackling the highest mountain in Victoria 1986m 🏔️
These stickers are not for sale, they are purely only a reward for those who took on the challenge of such a difficult hike or run 🏔️🏃♀️🏔️🏃♂️to say congratulations.
