TheAustralian Sprint Rankings are calculated from the average of the best two percentages behind the first Australian in any of the sprint selection races, senior and junior. Note that this is the first year that two results have been used for the sprint ranking, and also that national team selection is based on only one result. It should also be noted that for selection purposes junior skiers in their final year are not counted in the results, which may account for any discrepancy between the ranking lists and team selection.
