Kangaroo Hoppet - 25 August 2012
The 22nd Kangaroo Hoppet will be held at Falls Creek in north east Victoria on 25 August 2012.
The 42km Kangaroo Hoppet is the opening event of the 2012 / 2013 Worldloppet series of long distance cross country ski races. Also held on the same day are the shorter 21km Australian Birkebeiner and 7km Joey Hoppet events.

The Great Alpine Challenge
Australia's longest triathlon, the Great Alpine Challenge brings together three of the Alpine High Country's most popular sporting events.
Event 1 is the Mount Beauty Half Marathon held on the second last Saturday of May.
Event 2 is the Kangaroo Hoppet held on the fourth Saturday of August.
Event 3 is the 55km Mitta to Mount Beauty mountain bike ride held on the last Sunday of October
