Rocky Valley Rush

First held in 1976, the Rocky Valley Rush, a cross country skiing tour race, (mass start, freestyle technique), is the oldest cross country ski race at Falls Creek.  It will be held on Sunday 10th of August in 2014. Skiers can choose from the 15km main event, or the 7 km Sun Valley Ramble. Proudly supported by Snow Trek & Travel, Wodonga (formerly Snowgum).

Please note:  On-line registrations close at 6 p.m. on Saturday 9th August.
Late entries at Windy Corner day shelter, 8.30 - 9.30 a.m. on Sunday (additional $10 late fee).

Great Alpine Challenge

Australia's longest triathlon, the Great Alpine Challenge brings together three of the Alpine High Country's most popular sporting events.

Event 1 is the Mount Beauty Half Marathon held on the second last Saturday of May.
Event 2 is the Kangaroo Hoppet held on the fourth Saturday of August.
Event 3 is the 55km Mitta to Mount Beauty mountain bike ride held on the last Sunday of October.

Great start to the season!

Falls Creek, the home of the Kangaroo Hoppet now has over 60km of cross country trails groomed, thanks to FCRM groomers Ross and Geoff.  Time to get on snow for some Hoppet training!  Don't forget the sun screen!  More snow predicted later this week.
